Hello everybody, I purchased my first reef tank used and was told these where mushrooms. When they where small the did appear to be some sort of mushroom, and not knowing any better at the time I assumed they where.

But now that they have have grown, and now that I know a little more to look for, they have a mouth and polyps almost like a zoa. I have included a photo below..... what are these?

It is kind of hard to see in the photos but they are starting to get tentacles, when I noticed the tentacles is when I realized I had no clue what they where. The tank was in pretty poor shape when I got it so it is very possible they are. But they are growing, and will open and close through out the day.

Bleached Grandis. I have some I experimented with and tried moving the rock they were on all the way to the top of the tank and they turned that white.

Hey everybody, just wanted to post an update. I have moved them further up in the tank and have been spot feeding with reef roids. They are starting to get some color back around the mouth and appear to have possibly grown a little bit! Here is a picture.

I hope I can save them, do you guys have any other suggestions?
