What are these?

Hello all [emoji4] I found these curly white things all over our tank this week, and cant quite figure out what they are. I've done quite a bit of research, and I feel like I still dont have any straight answers. They are really hard, and dont move around, I also havent seen any filters coming out of them, but they are all still quite small. The numbers are increasing pretty rapidly, and I feel like some of them have definitely grown. One picture is a few of them on the rocks, and you can see a few of them around, and the other picture, you cant see them as well, but all the white spots are them as well. Thank you! Can they become a pest? Or will they stop growing like crazy before they become a problem? I'm just worried about how fast they all started popping up!

They have always slowed down in my systems. They will match the food avaliable so in a new tank they usually multiply fast.

If they become too much in my tank I just scrape them off the glass
