I walked past my tank a second ago and saw something on the glass between the glass and the acrylic of my SHU acclimation box. Looks like tons of little fish larvae! Pulled out my 30x magnification jewelers loop that I use for my gemstone collection and here are some pics.

Here is a stocking list:
Powder blue
Koran angel
Humu trigger
Blue spotted puffer
Pink face wrasse
Pink margin fairy wrasse
Feather duster blenny
2-Molly Miller Blennies (possibly male & female)?

All fish were QT'd before being introduced into the DT and this is a fish only tank but there is a single snail in the sump.

I watched these things for a couple minutes and don't see any movement.

Wow...very cool. Since you have a pair of blennies I want to say them but it is so hard to identify at that stage since almost everything looks the same.
The blennies don't ever hang out together that I've seen. I've been wondering if they might be male and female but I don't know. I caught them while on vacation last August in Galveston when they were little fish.

Perhaps they can be a pair since you got them so small that one turned into the other sex (like clownfish).

Still always a treat to see something new and unexpected that isn't a tank crash or other problem.

I guess if they are breeding then they must be happy and getting the nutrition and water quality they need. And everyone else in the tank gets snacks!

Mystery solved!! Just went and examined the molly miller hiding spots and found gazzillions of eggs and the female is still laying more!! Only thing is... the female is the one I had thought all along was a male!
Here is the female that was observed laying eggs:

And here are just some of the gazzillions of eggs: (look where the bright light is and you can see eggs surrounding the light)

Here is the same fish several months ago before being transferred to the 120 gallon tank:

This last picture has been used in my greeting to new members here since I shot the photo. I always thought it was a male until this evening. So do Molly Miller blennies change sex like clowns or was I just wrong all along?

Lucky you!! Baby blennies!
