I brought home a small clean up crew yesterday. Some turbo snails and blue leg herm crabs and a peppermint shrimp. Acclimated and quarantined them yesterday for several hours and finally put them in my main. I wake up this morning and there are 100+ things jetting around the tank. Look like baby shrimp but Im not sure! HELP!

Need a better pic. Can you take a pic of an individual?

I agree they do look like pods but can't 100 percent be sure without better pic.

Pods refers to amphipods think plankton..
Pretty.much bottom of the food chain something you want in your tank.

I'd say your peppermint shrimp was carrying eggs...usually fish food but without fish maybe a couple will find a way to live.
