I know this isn’t a zoa but these little brown stalks are on the frags of them as well. They just showed up recently. Does anyone know what it is? How to get rid of it and is it hurting my coral?

crappy pic but best guess is Bristle Worm

Wow as in your response is a bit rude. It’s not easy to get a good pic in blue lights and we have new fish so I’m trying to keep things calm by not turning on bright lights. And I don’t think they are worms. When I pull the frag from the water it falls over and is some type of twig.

Not really rude, its a really bad pic but my best guess its a type of algae.

You can purchase a filter lense kit for your phone that will make photos under blue leds be more true to how they appear in person. Maybe $30. Worth the investment. But lots of folks are here to help.

I didn't want to call you stupid! that would be rude. How can someone identify something they can't see. HaHa. Use an orange filter. you can find them for a $1

It does look like an algae of some sort. Blue light is the bane of an ID thread. The filters work good but just turning on a phones flashlight to illuminate the needed area can help a lot. It probably isn’t bothering the coral much right now. If you are worried about it you can pull the strands off that that may be bothering it by hand.
