Hello. So I thought these were decomposing pellets or something. Totally ignorant right! Lol. Anyhow my better half was like "you have a problem in your tank" and of course as a newbie I was like what the heck?!?!? So she showed me and I was like oh ya those are alive. Weird. Let me ask people who know whats up.....thats you! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They’re spaghetti worms, not at all harmful
There are many spots where they come up. We had guessed spaghetti worms, thanks for the confirmation and reassurance they're not harmful!

Welcome.
Im not experienced at all.i only know what i read and what others say.i only just set my tank up 7 weeks ago and first fish im qt at moment so i got all the ugly stages and interesting things that just pop up in our tanks.
I think im on start of ugly stage now.got few things growing on the rocks and in one my caves.looks like cyano bacteria ( calothrix) looks like see through jelly like arms but reas it says they like low flow areas and blows off rocks easy but my power heads dont blow thwm off so idk what it is.but all just part the journey so all will be well ^_^

Spaghetti worms. They are good guys! If you see them in your tank, leave them there. So, you’ve got a worm with loads of thin tentacles poking out of your sand bed or rock work, chances are, it’s a Spaghetti Worm.
These worms are normally harmless detritus eaters, but they can annoy corals if they are constantly moving around near the base of them. This can cause your corals to close, but rest assured, they are not attacking your corals.
Their main body is normally not visible, they hide deep within the sand bed with just their long tentacles poking out of the sand. They have a segmented body, closely resembling an earth worm. They are most commonly found in cream, white, pink, brown and beige colours, some of them have striped feeding tentacles.
These guys do multiply quickly, but if you find them in your tank, just let them be. Let them do their job as a beneficial hitch-hiker!

Cool...thanks for the info. Much appreciated! I kinda want to dig one up to see it (as I think I have many) but likely I'll just leave them alone as I now know they're benificial.
