The red thing I can cut off no problem. More worried about all the small spirals.

They are spirorbid worms, they are harmless filter feeders (though if you over feed their population can get out of hand and clog filters/pumps). It’s virtually impossible to keep them out of your tank, you can try, but they’re one of those hitchhikers that just find their way in. But again, I wouldn’t worry about them, at worst you’ll have to clean your pumps/glass a little more often.

You'll most probably destroy it trying to remove; why not just leave alone - it's part the great diversity of ocean life, IMO. And, yes, they are harmless filter feeders and part of your cuc in that sense.
