What are these?

Hi all, we bought a new torch yesterday and noticed there were a couple of extras too. I’ve highlighted on the photo.
The blue one has a bright luminous spot at it’s tip.
My thoughts on the white glob was inistially a blob of glue but now we think it might be eggs of some critter. Do we risk it or do we get it out?

By get it out I meant the tag with the possible eggs not the whole torch

Could also be a sponge.
