I understand that Platinums are Perc's and Wyoming Whites are Occ's, but what are they bread from and what is the difference. I have never seen W Whites in person but they look bigger/thicker. Can anyone help me figure out the difference ans where they "come from."

hello, well from my understanding they are first from c- quest ,bill and katy addison produced this line, according to katy they were from normal occelaris that had some interesting genes, breeding and breeding eventually got them this all white occy!!! thats from my understanding talking to katy addison herself! i own a single wyoming white nd ill tell you they are alot more beautiful than the platnium clowns, as they have a crisper white and better body form, ill be getting another pair this coming monday!!cant wait

Correct, C_Quest is the one who is breeding them. Still want to get my hands on a pair :)

I've seen World Wide Corals have them for sale in the past. You might contact them to see if they can get a pair in just for you.

Ibluwater.com has some but they are very pricey right now. C quest has shut down for right now until they move back in the states from puerto Rico so they are in even higher demand right now. I'd rather wait for them to come down in price if I'm paying that much for clowns its gonna be a pair of latz, or even better a pair of mcchulocs!

Man, thats dissapointing, as I've been wanting to get some in my tank. I think that white contrast in comparison the colorful wrasses would be neat in my tank.

I would agree that the Wyoming White have a Crisper White.
The Closest I have come to picking up a Pair is a Pair of C-Quest Gladiator Wide Bars.

Those fish are bread down from a lot,I cant say anything about the genes in those fish though.

There are many more than 1 pairs of the Wyoming whites, they have 450 pairs of spawning clownfish,I would say around 10+ are wyoming whites.

Good luck with your search.

Any pics of the parent fish of the WW

according to my knowledge , they were bred from just regular occellaris, and down the genes they produced more and more of a solid white fish,, now they got the wyoming white!!! i got an adult pair and they are nice,, got them a pot and all and they are very happy and very neat!!! love them more than my adult platnium pair, much cleaner white jfyi!!!

cant wait to get a ww, much cleaner and brighter white then platinums. has anyone heard any news of when c-quest will open new facility in states and start shipping out again.

Post a pic of the WW. I want to see them

Here's a shot of the pair that WWC sold me.
