Good morning, what are you doing with your aquarium today?

Today I am going to add a DC8 to my apex controller and add my vortechs and led's to the controller.

I may also mix some saltwater for a water change soon.

On the list of things to do today include adding a TLF reactor to my frag tank with some GFO, swapping out the Rowaphos & carbon on my DT, cleaning the skimmers, and trimming my chaeto.

I transferred my only clown to the hospital tank, topped off my tank and dosed the 2-part before I left. Waiting on friday to get here so that my black ice clowns will arrive!! WOOT WOOT!

Water change one the 90 ...... and pruning back some of the out of control xenia, grrrrrr. Water testing and dosing on the 180. And it's one of my 'extra' feeding days ..... today the harlequins, anemones, cynarina, fungia etc ..... get target fed. And hoping to get my plumbing parts list together, finally, for my 300 upgrade thats been in the works forever now!

Hopefully going to put together my new frag / qt tank. I already have all the stuff ready to go, just need to set it up.

It will be a 40 gallon oval stock tank with egg-crate wedged in about mid way down. I cut the egg-crate perfectly to fit. I won't even need supports under it. I spray painted everything in a coat of black krylon fusion paint so it looks really slick.

Right now I am running a 30g tall, which doesn't work well as a frag tank. The dimensions make very poor use of my AI module. The new oval tank will almost perfect match the max light spread of the AI module.

Can't wait!

I cleaned out my sump socks and opened up the Mag Pro I use as a polisher from time to time. It hasn't been running for about the last month, but the lid has been in place. When I took the top off today the reek of sulphur almost knocked me over...anoxia is as anoxia does.

All i've done as clean the algae off the glass and top off some water. When I get back from work, I am going to place my newly phrase pink with greenouth tube anemone into a pvc pipe and hurt it into the sand bed.
