I love bulk Reef supply. I was curious to see what everyone else is using.
I'm also dosing red sea nopox for nitrate and phosphate reduction.

BRS for me. I buy the pre packed stuff. It's worth the few extra bucks to me and it's fast and easy for the wife to mix should we run out when I'm travelling for work.

I'm a Randy Recipe 1 user since 2008. Preston Driveway Heat for calc, Sam's Club Arm and Hammer Baking Soda for alk (baked at 350). Mag Flakes and Epsom salt for mag.

Drs. Foster and Smith Calc Chloride, DFS Calcium Hydroxide, DFS Magnesium Chloride, Epsom Salt and Baking Soda.
Planning on using DFS Sodium Bicarbonate when finished with all of the baking soda that I have on hand.

Bulk Reef Supply, Good people to do business with, quick shipping, they answer all my questions, and the two part product is the easiest to use in my opinion, I also dose with there Mag. as well

Brs kalk
Dfs clacium and alk
Vinegar
Acropower
Instant ocean auto water change

BRS when first started but now it's ESV B-Ionic 2 part. There is a difference besides the price.

While I think quite highly of ESV and B-ionic, as the inventor of the DIY two part, I'm curious what you think the difference is.

Are you claiming to observe a functional difference?

I've heard the same too and asked the same question and the reefer said that color and growth is better. I've always wanted to try ESV supplements but was always scared to change what's working for me.

I dose my Red Sea Reefer 450 with Reef Foundation A and B. No need for C yet. I am currently setting up a 600 gallon, and I am using a Dastaco Calcium reactor for Ca/ALK, but I'm thinking I'll be dosing Reef Colors A,B,C, and D through 2 DOS units. I already have the DOS' and the DDR's, so why not?

Just my personal observation when I switched from BRS to ESV was coloration and growth. But I know that there's other factors to that also. Like what else did I do different with my system at the same time as switching over to ESV. Just sharing my experience.

Would like to ask a favor? Would you PM with all these Recipe details and where to obtain them?

Thanks :)
