What are your favorite CUC species?

I have tiger conch, cerith, nassarius and trochus. Spiny star astrea snails are a little pricey but they have beautiful shells, can upright themselves and Ive noticed they are really good at cleaning the crud that grows right above the sand line. I also have a turbo snail, they are great except they will bulldoze your coral.

Ninja star snails. Hands down the hardest working snail.

I don’t see ninja star snails often at any of my LFS. Are they really worth having? I could probably get them to order some for me if they are.

I bought them from reeftopia.com as part of a larger order.

For a 125? I" think" just a few at a time. Maybe 5 at a time? A week later, add 5 more. You don't want to add too many at once.. I hope You have a source near by. If You have to order this can get pricey.
It all depends on a food source.

I’m glad I read this. I’ve been wanting to purchase trochus snails and put a request for these and astreas to the new and only LFS in my area for 5 years. I’ve got a 75 gal-not a ton of algae but enough to notice it on the rocks.

So I probably should get 3 of each to start?
