Traditionally, once Labor Day passes, activity in this hobby picks up. What plans do you have as you re-energize your reefing activities? Buy more coral? Buy that fish you've always wanted? Upgrade equipment? Clean up the mess you let accumulate over the summer? ;) Set up a new system? Re-do an existing system? Share your plans.

I need to get back to reef/coral photography. Have to find some reefs to photograph first. As for my own reefs, planning to add a few pieces, but want to grow out some of the stuff I currently own.

I don't stop due to seasons but I plan on adding a few more pieces and then let the tank grow and settle. I have added alot of stuff this summer and spring, I will add a few frags of Zs abd Ps that I need to replace though. Other then that this will be the season to sit back and watch it grow.

I've had a QT running for quite a while now that will house a pair of fish once I bring them in... they'll hang out in there for a while then head to the DT to finish it off. I'm always on the look out for specific coral, and a little bird told me to expect things in the coming months...

Basically cleaning up the algae mess I let accumulate over the summer!

Also heading to MACNA to see what trouble I can get in there with my pocketbook!

I wasn't aware us reefers were able to take time off :). For me it'll be business as usual.

I have two MACNA tickets available at the original price, let me know if anyone is interested. I also have reservations at the Sheraton that I'll have to cancel If anyone wants to take those over.

and my plans....moving everything to a little bit bigger tank with more light so i can have more variety. : )

let new fishes settle... babysit... watch fishes swim... babysit.... feed fishes... babysit... keep up with water changes... babysit... keep up with keeping tank clean and not an eyesore... babysit....

:hammer:

hopefully, next year, I'll collect more corals that I have lost during the transitions of tanks the past 12-18 months... :)

I will be trying to add a few bigger colonies to my tank and then maybe breeding some fish! LOL!

Ive been redoing my system. I took it down and reset it up. Changed over to T5s and sold all my Tunze and went with Vortechs. Changed all the rock out cuz of all the pest Ive picked up over the yrs. Just a complete overhaul. :)

Relocating my sump to the room under the stairs. Adding new equipment (CaRx, ATO), getting ready to add a nem specific tank for my clowns, ATO resevoir. Redoing my basement.

I ordered a new Reefkeeper Lite L3 and moonlight controller module from Corals Mania, one of the Sponsors here and am in the process of setting everything up! I love it so far. It has replaced a Milwaukee pH controller, Ranco dual stage temperature controller, a half dozen mechanical and digital timers, a Coralife digital thermometer, three Coralife 1 watt moonlights and a couple outlet strips and I'm still dreaming of things to hook to it!

I got a new gass cutting bandsaw, Speedster XL. Let the fragging begin.....
