What blue for reef tank background.

I think this was rustoleum deep blue, looks great when clean, it feels like there is more depth to the tank.

Im building my aquarium with white background right now and I'll send picts when im done :)

What color blue should I get for my background. Deep sea blue? Or deep blue? Deep blue is a bit brighter. Deep sea blue looks almost navy blue but have heard good things. Just seeing what you all think. Thanks
Home Depot Behr paint ask for wet cement. Gray (Like battleship grey) Makes UV amazing at night and cuts down on fish fighting themselves in the glass reflection. Water based so if you don't like you can scrape off.

Do you have the pics? I’m getting a Nuvo 40 and was considering cutting a thin piece of pvc sheet to make a white background.

How about a clear glass back wall…then use a rgb strip led light running across the back of the tank?

Heres my recent video
So far i dont have any algae building up on the white background glass. Its just green or brown film which are easy to remove one or twice a week with a magnetic scraper.
I am using an Aqueon standard 90 Gallon so thats why theres a little greenish blue tint which makes a nice touch.
I used to live in Bohol Philippines and I would swim on the shallows and the water is greenish blue :)
Make sure to put the quality to max or 2160p :)

What about a mirror? That's what I'm doing on my next tank...getting a custom mirror cut to fit

A mirror will cause your fish to fight themselves constantly. I used little mirrors inside my tank when adding my last tang. The existing tangs were too busy trying to fight themselves in the mirror to worry about the new guy, allowing him to get established.

I don't know how long they will do it, but mine did it for 3 days before I took them back out. They then started to focus on the new tang a bit more, but by then he was a bit more established etc.

I'm pretty sure if I put the mirrors back in tomorrow, they'd all try to fight themselves.
