What brand Carbon is everyone using???

I am currently using BRS carbon and have been for a couple of years now. Just curious what everyone else is using and if their might be a better product out their.

Right now? I'm using Kingsford, and not the match light stuff. The lighter fluid they add can make the food taste funny if you don't get it all burned out before you put the food on.

Oh.. nevermind... we are talking reefing! Yup, I use the BRS stuff also.

Same here i use BRS "top shelf" carbon. they have a very informative video were they tested different types worth a watch if you have not seen it.

What do you mean? Are you saying that you just get whatever the LFS packages and sells since that's what BRS does?

Pretty much what I'm getting at. Several brands of ice cream are made in the same factory. Jus sayin.

Its possible In an emergency Id grab some rox, but...

Not all carbon is the same. From what I can recall, the cheaper, generic brands may be made from coconut and could possibly contibute to HLLE in tangs. I read this many, many years ago, so it may not even be true.
I always use BRS Premium ROX 0.8.
