What calibration fluid to buy for refractometer

It should be straight forward for companies to copy my published recipe, but since that sort of chemical knowledge seems beyond some hobby supply companies, I'm concerned that some may develop things they think are right which are not.

Dang so i bought tds calibration fluid for nothing! Lol haha. Whats it used for than? Scientific lab settings or water testing at the city water.plant? Just intrested now. Lol.

If you want to be sure you are measuring conductivity correctly in that range.

Labs might have a strong use. Reef hobbyists, not so much.
