ok, I auto dose my reef and Fowler tank the following, which is housed in clear 1 gallon containers
CA
ALK
NOPOX

an manually dose reef plus, reef roids an MG

I have a spare/ empty black plastic container ( 1/2-1g ) former protein powder container and a red sea black 1-liter container.
i am making float switches to attach to my apex, so seeing the fluid levels will not be an issue if one fears it running empty. so what can i dose (food or trace) that would not require refrigeration?

my mg has never been a problem so i manually dose that if my trident tells me to.
