What can I do about this really tough algae?

Sorry for the bad cell phone photo. I don't know what this is. It grows in individual straight strands for the most part, not patches. They can only be removed individually with tweezers. Even my fingernails don't work half the time and doesn't brush off with a stiff brush. I doubt any animal will make much of a dent in it. fluconazole maybe?

Following. I have the same problem in my tank
 
Bryopsis maybe? Urchin might take care of it.
 
It's a form of macro algea i cant spell..mine had it awhile . Wont add chemicals to tank, so I kept manually pulling off . Added another powerhead in area. Seemed to help
