We had this gorgeous trachy, probably 8 inches across. Several months back, I sold some corals and rocks and did some rearranging in the tank. The trachy started to recede and get boney. My 240 was finally ready for it to go in and it is looking so much better, but some of the flesh has pulled away from the skeleton and is flowing a lot now.. Is there any way to get it to reattach? Should I cut off the piece that's loose? The 2 pictures are a couple of months apart.

When mine went bad I placed it in my sump under a simple PAR 38 LED lamp (PAR reading 200). I think the fact our sumps have so many bugs and critters it was like a smorgus board of food and it recovered

Moderate light and water flow, feed and assure salt is at level and youre not getting a false reading.
