Wrasse will lay around often with less color (stress color) when New or stressed. Fairy and flasher wrasse in particular. I hope it pulls through.

I have had wrasse play dead and take a while to recover once moved to QT. keep lights out and give him time. I had one look dead in the bag when I got it home from the lfs. I was sure it was dead, but placed it in QT anyway. It drifted to the bottom of tank and did not move off of his side. I covered tank with towel and went to bed. In morning he was gone. As in hiding in the sand gone. I waited and sure enough, next day was out swimming like nothing ever happened. Darn little DQ's (Drama Queens).

thanks you two. I hope he's being a dramaqueen, though I don't blame him for acting like one since he's so skinny.

who's the compatibility expert. Kinda tough to believe he was healthy and now he has a disease.
Ive had more than one or two fish have food and hiding issues because of tank mates. A simple rescape and extra hidey hole wound up being the solution.
