What can I keep in a 5 gal tank?

I know very little about the type of fish that can be kept in smaller tanks. I work with large tanks 200+ gallons so size isn't really an issue for the fish. My girlfriend wants to keep a small 5-gallon tank. I wasn't sure what she could keep in there. Are 5 gallons too small to keep 2 clowns? If so what other fish if possible can I keep in here. Maybe too small for fish so inverts only?

I keep a 4g with two barnacle blennies which are pretty cool (clicking my build thread badge will take you to the thread). Too small for clownfish, but you could look into a greenbanded goby, or clown gobies! Sexy shrimp would be cool, as well as pompom crabs, as long as you keep the parameters stable
