What can I put in my reactor?

I have a nuvo 16, and I bought a nano cad light media reactor. Tried biopellets and that was a terrible experience, used chemipure blue elite to pull that out, now I'm just running it empty. Is there something I can put in there to help out my tank? I've got a kessil 360w for lighting, vortech mp10, mainly acans, chalices, blastos.

Yes Bio pellets are terrible, tried them once and never again. I run gfo in mine to keep the phosphates lower. it really depends on what you are trying to achieve in your water.

Well I have a bunch of LPs...was thinking about doing something to keep my alk/calc/mag all high and stable, so I don't have to dose.

The only reactor that will do that is a calcium reactor with Co2.
Or get a doser to have it dose automatically.
A regular media reactor will only be able to do things like reduce excess nutrients and organics. Phosphate, nitrates, etc.

And there are plenty of people running bio-pellets as a successful way of carbon dosing.
As with anything, it requires prior research and understanding of the equipment needed, processes to follow, reason for using it in the first place, etc.
