I don't see what your getting at. Other than if they are to close together LPS will release their sweeper tentacles, and they can mow down a coral next to them.

it happened to my scoly too but only when it got shipped to mee. i think it released something. im not too sure jake. you should be fine tho!

They are pretty far from each other- i now noticed zoa shrinks and closed so do mushroom what the heck-

Just changed 5gal water w salt 1025

Just now - birdnest and purple styo turns slowly to white and no PE

You should be checking your water params then, doesn't sound good to me.

I had this feeling it was caused by mushroom cuz i removed 2 of mushroom and i noticed purple slime like spit out of mouth this early afternoon

Guess add carbon and WC

Parameter -
1025
Alk 8.6
Cal 450
Mg 1380
Temp 78.5
Phos 0.04
Nitrate 5ppm

Thanks

After then again did 2g WC and added carbon ( total 3 tbsp of BRS rox carbon )

I usually change 2 tbsp of BRS rox every 2 week

It's biocube 29 with approx 23-24 saltwater

From the pictures, or at least the second pictures, it appears the coral is protruding its guts. I've had this happen to several of my corals and looks nothing like feeder tentacles. Most times its in response to a lack of food/nutrients. I've seen this displayed during the day and night, but like I said, it appears as a mass of white strings, filament like. Maybe spot feed both of those corals for a few days and see if that changes things.

It's a stress response; those are the mesenterial filaments (guts). Whatever stressed these corals is also what caused your SPS to RTN.
