Its been about a year now since my setup. I was chasing numbers from watching BRS channel and now I see most of it was a waste of money and time, even though I learned a lot.
So with trial and error I have discovered a few things and hope you can assist.

I only see results that I expect from my tank when I go on vacation and come back. (5 days at most) Coral size have increased, they are fully open and polyps extended. Coralline algae everywhere.
Thanks #ronreefman for the suggestion of turning down my flow that change a lot in my corals opening.
Things change when I do a WC, start loosing the coralline algae, corals shrink, glass is clean.

So I have been trying to get a dirty tank, so I shut off the filter roller mat and have been running skimmer only with no success.
The last 3 wks, no WC, no filter, Skimmer waste has been circulated back in the tank and has been off for a week now as well as the return pump, cause I don't want to top off while the house is being tented today only my gyre are on. Finally getting some green algae on the glass and rocks, but the tangs clean that up well.

Today I placed a thick plastic over the tank and have two air stones around 9am. I took a nap and got up at 3pm and check the tank, I almost cried. My halides and t5 were on and all my corals where 1/3 bigger, I have never see so many polyps extension EVER.

How can I maintain this level. I know the lighting has big part. I have no circulation other than the wave maker.
I will be out of the house until Monday and I turn off the lights cause I saw the plastic sweating. Hope the air stones keeps the fish alive.

Thank you

You may still have too much flow if the corals are extending more now with less flow. The main thing I'm concerned about with what you posted is where the air pumps are getting the air from since your house is being tented and you have the tank covered with plastic. I hope you set them up to pull air from outside.

I don't know how to that...I am praying so hard. I can't handle another wipe out. The pest control guy said he tented a house last week and the owner had no issues. He never covered the tank but turned out well

I hope everything is ok when you get home
YES YES YES>....I am so glad I did some research. I installed two air stones about 3 inches long over the gyre pump (by accident) and when I got home they all were in the that section sucking on the air bubbles. The pump was circulating the bubbles. I had increased them to 100%.
I made one mistake, I forgot to turn off the apex so my temp was 88. Only 1 coral seem affected but looks like it will bounce back....
Thanks

Sounds like it could have been worse, I'm glad you didn't come home to a catastrophe

Yes it could have been. I did a water change and everything seem good. I can't find my goby or dwarf lion fish, but I am sure they are just hiding.
