This clownfish was getting attached in a local reefers tank. He needed it out of the tank ASAP. So I picked it up. Now I may find him a new home. Due to the fact a have a maroon clown, but it’s actually smaller than this guy. If everyone’s getting along may keep him for when I get my 180g set up.
I’m pretty sure it’s a percula clown. But the guy I got him from wasn’t sure. Phot o isn’t the greatest. His water is kind of bad Looking.

It is either a Percula or Ocellaris. No expert here, but you are usually supposed to be able to tell by looking at eyes (the ocellaris has almost black eyes, percs have more orange), the dorsal spines (ocellaris have 11, percs have 10), and the width of the black lines that outline the stripes (ocellaris have thinner lines, percs have thicker). I can't really make out the eyes or the dorsal, but from the lines on the body it looks more ocellaris than perc.

Ocellaris. The lines on a percula look like they're drawn with a sharpie, this one has very fine lines as though drawn with a fine tip pen.
