from the looks of this reading, it shows maybe a 1.0.
Isn't .08 considered a deadly reading for copper? i am using cupramine and my only concern now is that i am about 3 days in at this reading and i still see some Ich like symptoms on one of the newer fish. there is one ich spot on his fin.
how long before my QT goes ich free and i can remove the copper?

It looks like a value between 0.5 and 1.0mg/L. Which copper product are you using?

That API test isn't the best one to get a clear reading of ionic copper like Cupramine, though it works well enough with chelated copper such as Coppersafe. You might want to give Seachem's copper test kit a try.

~Bruce, who reads about a .75 - .8 as well, but doesn't trust that test with that copper . . .

^^^ Agreed. You need to use either the Seachem test kit or Salifert. The API kit does not work with Cupramine (but works great with Coppersafe).
