What coral can live with a non reef safe fish

This purely hypothetical, what coral do you think, if any, can live in a aquarium with a mixture of angels and butterflyfish? All lps corals are out. Pest corals like gsp, xenia, or blue cloves perhaps? Montipora cap? Leathers? Maybe some noxious corals like mushrooms?

Montipora, porites, Heliopora, favia, I think these could survive angels and butterflyfish if they don't get really hungry.

It really depends on which angels and butterflies you are thinking of. Some are more of a problem with hard corals and others soft corals. Generally more noxious corals are safer but many angels will happily destroy leathers, mushrooms and zoas as will some butterflies.

It is not really a cut and dry topic.Depends on the fish in question, like some butterflies are fine with only SPS some are fine with softies only. Most angels are fine with Euphyllia some large angels are not. Often comes down to the tastes of the individual, and circumstances of the specific coral.

I wouldn’t agree with favia, that would be high on my list to avoid with the “with caution” butterflies and Angels, along with acans, scholys, trachy, lobos, ect.
