I picked this up at aquashella over the weekend. I thought it was an scan when I picked it up. I wanted to make sure as I’ve never had an acan before. (The one in the middle between the zoas.

Looks like an acan to me, at least at this angle. Or, it's one of the corals called "acan lords". They got reclassified and are now Micromussa lordhowensis, which is shortened to the trade name "micro lord".

Assuming it is an acan lord/micro lord, it should be fine pressed right up against zoas, as micro lords are wildly non-territorial. They'll sting stony corals that touch them, and pack a whopper of a punch once they are mad, but generally don't seem to mind zoas. A lot of corals don't really seem to mind zoas.

Yeah I’ve had all 3 of those for about 2 days right now. I’m just trying to get them used to the lighting and water before I place them in the tank.
I read up a bunch on the acan but I wanted to make sure that’s what it was.
I got it on a whim cause it was $20.

Pretty good price for it, I'd say. Micro lords are nice- lots of variety, you can build a garden, and you can boost their growth by feeding them. They like pellets and meaty foods, mostly.

Yeah That’s what I read. I already feed the tank with mysis, brine, and Calanus. So hopefully grows fast

You have to put the food directly on the coral for it to eat, ideally with the pumps off so it can get a good hold. They can snag food if it happens to blow on top of them, but aren't great at catching food otherwise.
