I always see conflicting things on whether or not flame angels are safe with corals so I figured I would ask on here. I have a 55 gallon DT with a flame angel and I wanted to know what types of corals, if any, have the best chance at not being killed. Also, if the angel nips at corals, will it necessarily kill it? I would really appreciate input on this. Thanks!

I've found flames to be fine with SPS, Zooanthids and most euphillia (though frogspawn proved irresistible to mine). Fleshy LPS did not fare well. Clams sometimes yes sometimes no.

I think everything is sometimes yes, sometimes no with flame angels
