Staring to like the look of a Acans. Used to think that they are pretty ugly but now that I have one... I like it. Obviously Frog, hammers, and torches are going to stay popular. And I am looking to try bubble coral again. I love the look of bubble coral.

Gotta be chalices for me! Picked up a JF Raja Rampage and the rate of growth is ridiculous, and those colors POP

Didn’t think of gonis. I like those too if they weren’t so difficult. Maybe it’s easy for some but hard for me

Acans for me too! Picked one up over the weekend and now I can’t wait to get more!

If your asking what the next hot coral is gonna be I bet it’s Gonis. The torch phase is dying down some definitely, I’m not saying prices are gonna take a dump but definitely on the decline. I personally like gonis a lot, for me they grow pretty well and frag pretty easy.

You will always have the people into the sticks including myself.
you will always have people into zoas.
You will always have the people into chalices and blastos and acans.
You will always have people into shrooms.

Then you have the people who grow and are into the hot threading corals (torches) currently.

I got my first Goni a couple weeks ago and so far it’s doing alright! Hoping to see some noticeable growth within the next couple of months

I gravitate towards acropora and eupyhllia both. I'm hoping to buy some torches after the prices come down to something reasonable, but until then I'll stick (hehe) with acropora and hammers.

I like torches and have a good few in my collection but they grow pretty slow and take a while to frag.
My favorite is my ASD Holy Grail.

I like it all, but chalices and acans are still my favorite and that has not changed in a long time. Kind of wish that acans would become the trendy thing again cause my frag tank is full of them

One of my all time favorite chalices is the Orenjii chalice but never got the chance to own one

Used to be the same way, but when LPS becomes easy to grow, color, and frag, and the longer your in the hobby, the more of a challenge you need to consider yourself a successful reefer.

Yeah I'll wait till it's been growing in tanks and you can get a $200 frag. Maybe a couple years, but I'll own one eventually. Now that I know I can grow and color SPS, and how to manipulate the colors with lighting and nutrient levels, I've been buying a more collector SPS.

For that coral right now, thats not a bad price of it's that entire mini colony.

watching them eat is my favorite. It looks so alien when you drop some chunky food on them
