Soft corals for the most part don't have a sting. But most LPS do. That being said as long as you put them far enough away from each other you'll be fine.can i keep soft and lps corals together or soft and sps corals together or hard and lps or hard and sps?
Touching and give it a few extra inches to accout for sweeper tentacles at nightOh, do you mean in touching distance?

Lol sorry didn't read your name I thought you were the OP lolYes, I was asking the op. I thought he was asking in "general" can different corals be kept in the same tank.
No usually only corals of the same species can be kept together. Like acan lords together, euphyllia together except torches , zoas together and so on but definitley do research before hand. Some corals even of the same species will sting each other and that's no fun lol.so i can keep all corals together just depending on what it is should keep a distance between them if they are the same types of corals like sps can be kept with sps and lps can be kept with lps and so on?
No problem if u want to get an idea check out my video of my 20g mixed reef. I pretty much grouped all corals of the same species togetherok thanks alot really appreciate it
