What could make my tank better

Just did some major work on the tank and am looking for feedback.

It's a JBJ 28g Nanocube, I have a 150W Reeflux 12K bulb so SPS isn't a problem.

Fish are:
Onyx Clown
Mystery Wrasse
BiColor Blenny
Bangaii Cardinal
Blackcap Basslet

So no more fish additions are possible.

My goal was to create a birdsnest & Paly dominated tank (My 2 favorite corals) but am beginning to second guess myself.

Thanks for the comments guys.

The rock is white because I bleached some of it to kill off some invasive algae. There is about half bleached, half live rock in there, the bleached pieces just looked better so they ended up on top

It just kept spreading.

I am planning to order a torch, another birdsnest and some paly's from TEC. My little Onyx lost his last torch when I transferred tanks and he would probably like another.

Makes sense. Itll all look the same in a few months. I really like the birdsnest idea, very fast growers. Are they all pink birdsnests? I got a frag but I think it is, only problem is I think it lost color in shipping and is yet to regain it.

25 Yellow Tangs, silly, that's way to many for my size tank, I think I'll stick with a dozen

I have found with pink birdsnests nothing makes their color pop like a 10K bulb. I have the Reeflux 12K for growth and when I get a new bulb it will be back to the Phoenix 14K.

Get a hyacinth birdsnest from ORA.

Be very selective on what palys you put in there. Make sure you only put in ones you LOVE. they are a lot harder to get out later.

Ive made that mistake before.

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but :horse: let it take form. I agree, it looks like you need something else, but you'll have to take more actions if you keep adding more livestock, and then everything grows....

So, I guess this is your test of patience....

Set up a 10 gallon tank with spares. A new tank with nothing in it always makes my other tanks look better

If it was me I would start adding incrusting montis to the spaces in-between the birds nests. It will give you more color and give a nice contrast to the upward growth of the birds nest.
