What could put craters/holes in sps? Deep, not just flesh. This happened fast, a day or 2. I have sps right next to it that seems to not be affected. I tried to edit the first pic so you can see how deep the damage is.

Those look like bite marks, maybe from a beaked fish. Do you have any triggers in the tank?

no. sailfin tang, six line wrasse, diamond goby, blue green chromis, green mandarin, 1 cleaner shrimp, 2 fire shrimp.

Interesting, it could be some species of crab that made it into your tank. A good bet would be to try and catch them after lights out with a red light. See if you find anything sneaking around the corals.

I had the frag for about 6 months. Could A crab climbed straight up the glass on to a frag rack that is on the glass at the top of the tank? Could it be the cleaner shrimp? I seen it by the frag tonight.

Other sps right next to it no problem...

I’ve seen crabs make it up the silicone in the corner of tanks, it appears your rack is near the corner? I don’t think a shrimp could have done this pattern of damage.
