What could they be?

I've noticed these strange tongs in my 40g breeder tank they only come out at night and can only be seen from the top of the water when I hold a blue light above the tank. You can't see them if your looking at the top from under the water.

It looks like a space battle is going down in you tank, I have no idea what they are but will stick around to find out. It almost looks like someone playing with a laser they move so fast.
