Have you tested parameters recently? Notice any pests in the tank? Have any coral nipping fish?
That looks like some sort of sponge or possibly a tunicate, but I'm leaning more towards the sponge.
Not sure, some sponges in the atlantic can sting stuff but I doubt that's what killed it. I think it's more common to have euphyllia die-off caused by bacterial infection or shock.Could that have killed a frogspawn??
