Yeah, I’d just leave it - feather dusters are harmless.

I’ll agree the white tubes are likely feather dusters and will cause no harm. There appears, however, there are some red tubes sticking out the side (a bit blurry). They look to be vermetid snails, which would irritate the coral. I would snip them off with a pair of wire cutters.
