I have Trochus snails of various sizes so it seems that the trochus snails are spawning and the offspring are able to survive to adults so I'm wondering what else commonly reproduces in tanks. I have seen my Emerald Carbs zoea floating around but they never make it past that. Same with the Cleaner Shrimps. My Cerith and Nassarius are always laying eggs but that's as far as that goes as far as I can tell. I've seen the Conchs mating but never see any eggs. Is there any other cuc besides Trochus that will actually reproduce in the tank successfully?

Nice! Do you feed anything special? What species of Cerith?
In March 2017 I bought 10 Cerith from Live aquaria and here’s a pic of their label. After a huge dino outbreak that killed all trochas and nasarius snails I had only 4 or 5 left in Feb 2018. I raised nutrients and had a lot of turf algae grow and that’s what led to the explosion. I scraped the glass today so they’re mostly on the rocks and sand tonight. I think there are a couple hundred in the tank now. In the lower right of sand picture you can see 2 large snails that are the original ones.

Very cool! A different species than mine too. Mine are the Caribbean variety.

They usually come as hitchhikers, but my stomatella snails reproduce very well.
Oh ya I've got some of those too, white and black types. I see them pretty rarely.

Have a healthy population of limpets in my fuge. A few made it to the display but not enough to be an eyesore since they like to crawl the walls.

Snails that are getting enough food should reproduce.

In most tanks the food available is sparse so only smaller snails will reproduce...or none.
