What designer Clowns do you have?

I have a pair of gold-nugget clownfish, they're still young and haven't fully change in color but the white is starting to turn a yellowish gold. Attached are before & after as they mature.

Nice looking pair, I have always wanted one but timing hasn't ever worked out.

I've had the female lightning maroon a little over a year the male a few months. I've had my female naked more than 13 years.

Okay. I am a purist. Please do not be offended by my reply. Designer Clownfish just ruffle my fins. (I was going to write "feathers" but that seemed a mixed reference. ) I also dislike tiny purse poodles and Labradoodles and hairless cats and those fake florescent FW tetras. I do have a pair of Ocellaris because I couldn't find true Perculas at my LFS so, yes, perhaps I am a hypocrite. But the Designer Clowns just make my stomach hurt a little. I think I feel bad for them.

Not a hypocrite at all and everyone is allowed to have their opinion. I don't get offended easily because I believe in everyone having the right to share their beliefs and thoughts.

I look at like this, they aren't being changed other thank markings. It's like people from different nationalities having a baby. They are still of the same family just have different markings.
I agree about the tiny dogs and hairless cats though.

I appreciate your input and opinion.

I have a pair of Black Ice Snowflakes and by far they are my favorite of the designer clowns.

I'll have to take a picture of them later. Their markings are similar to each other but distinct so you can easily tell them apart. They have a wonderful color gradient from black on top to orange on their bellies, and at the edge of the white coloring is an iridescent line that stands out like crazy under atinics.

Best part about these is I a huge discount from the Petco by my office because I helped the store manager resolve a bristle work problem they had in their tanks.

It was because of them I purchased a second tank. I have a pair of maroons that are 10+ years old with 7 nems in my 120gal.

Ignoring the towel I used to wipe my dogs muddy feet sitting in frame at bottom right... I have a midnight clown and a frostbite clown, that you can see at the top of the tank by the powerhead. This is a new phone, so I don't have all my really good pics on it at the moment. I will post better pics later once I get off of work.

I love the designer clowns - it’s like evolution at a super fast rate . Also showcases just how cool markings can become - I don’t like the line breeding - but in nature it does happen sometimes so ... Picasso and Black Ice and Lightning are on my wish list !

Awesome. I really like them too. My LFS is getting an order of some different Clowns next week. I can't wait to see what he gets in. I hope i like the fish he gets in and it's an early Christmas for me. lol

I have a bonded pair of bullethole clowns. they decided to host a frogspawn i have front and center in my tank so i get to enjoy that awesome symbiotic relationship.
