What did I do, or didn't do.

I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that everything will be ok.
I did a water change last Sunday. I noticed yesterday my levels were a bit off (high) and things just didn't 'seem' right in my tank. I figured it was time to change the filters in the canister. Low and behold, it wasn't plugged in!! When I did the water change last Sunday, I forgot to plug the dang thing back in! Holy cow did that canister stink. I changed the filters, put new carbon in, along with filling it back up with new saltwater and plugged it back in.

I sure hope everything will be ok in the morning.

only a small amount of bio filtration is done in the filter. The rocks and sand are the majority. Your canister will do mechanical and some bio but your display should be able to handle whatever whenever.

It makes sense, especially since I use live rock.
