I week or so ago so I thought that one of my corals was getting too much light so I moved the coral. On top of that, I also changed my light setting (AI Prime HD) and my MP10 setting. As soon as I did that my tank told me it didn't like that my making my water cloudy and then I got a bunch of these slimey clear string like things hanging off the rocks. Well now everyday it seems that when my lights ramp up and down these clear stringy things come out and get really bad breaking off the rocks and floating all around the tank. When the lights go off they seem to disappear. I try to take pictures, but it's hard to get good pics because of the blue light. I did however take a pic before the lights come on that will show how cloudy my water column is. My tank is over 2 years old and I never had a problem with water quality before or any kind of bloom before.
I know this is all my fault because I changed too many things at one time and I learned my lesson. At this point I just want to know how to fix it.
What do you recommend I do to fix this problem?
Should a do a large water change?
