What did I just see?

After doing my water change tonight I sat back to watch the tank. Bicolor foxface swam up to the front glass, paused and did a quick short dash. He left a cloud of what looked to be his boys. Did it three times.
Had a there's something about Mary moment. Some was stuck to his forehead. I tried to get a picture but as I approached the tank he darted off
