the urchin or the polyps? If the urchin, I intend to when i spot him again I am going to put him in the sump till I can get back to the LFS.

Take both back to your LFS and tell him you would like full credit on the urchin and some credit back on the Rock and explain why. If he tells you no then I would never purchase anything else from him. If the person who sold you those items is not the owner then make sure to only deal with the owner and tell him why you want to exchange those items. Do not let this get you down. I have wasted hundreds upon hundreds of dollars in this hobby but do remember to go look at stuff then go home and research and then go back and buy. Employees will sell you most anything because a lot of them get commission or a bonus depending on sales. At least where I am. Luckily we have some great owners around here.
