What do I do about this leak?

There is a small (about pencil eraser sized) hole between two of the chambers of my refugium. I bought it used, and was cleaning it this weekend. Is this something I need to fix? Or once the water levels on either sides of the chambers are equal, it doesn't matter? I appreciate the help!

I can’t see the video, but if the leak will affect operation at all, plug it with some JB Waterweld epoxy, you can pick it up at your local hardware store.

I believe you have a number of options, but what immediately comes to mind, because I have a supply of different sizes, is a nylon but and bolt.

other options...a dab of silicone; super glue a piece of acrylic....

I've watched the video a half dozen times, and I'm still wondering why that holes there. It looks like someone took a 1/4" drill bit to it on purpose for some reason.

correct unless the chamber its leaking into will hold something fine like sand which u dont want disturbed then I'd plug it otherwise shouldn't be problem OR unless all the water draining from leaking section will flood the sump. I'd test it for power outage and check water level.
