I have a Sailfin Tang in my 55 gallon FOWLR tank(technically my pap set it up because we had it since 2013)... and since January this year we have a Sailfin Tang in it along with a Green Chromis, Pajama Cardinal, and Ocellaris Clownfish.(1 of each) and some snails. I know how huge they get so i'm not sure what to do, my nearest pet store is like 20-30 miles and I am not old enough to drive... so i am not sure how to tell my pap that the tang might need to be rehomed because it is a huge fish. What can I do? The fish isn't too small, it's a little bit bigger than what my large blue velvet damsel was(and it was pretty big).

How big is the tang now?

If it is under 5” you’re fine

Got a not so good picture of the tang. It swims fast and hides a lot. I just need someone with a bigger tank to take it, and I don’t know how to tell my parents it needs rehomed.

Best photo i have of the tang showing it’s size. Told my gram about how big it gets and she left me on read, dunno what to do about this without my parents knowing. they got it for me eithout say when i was out of the hobby. :/ it’s not their fault as they don’t knoe a lot but i just don’t want it to be stressed
