What do I need to set up aquarium

Hi I am new to this hobby and need some advice.
I bought a 55gallon tank and stand and that is as far as I got.
I've done some research but I am not sure what all I need and what I don't need to start up an aquarium. I know I want clown fish and tang fish. I need to know what equipment I should buy?
A list of what I need to get started would be very helpful

1) Choose a filter that would be best if your only gonna keep fish.
2)buy a heater
3)salt mix
4)Hydrometer
5)test kit
6)live rock or something to seed the tank to gain beneficial bacteria
7)normal light strip for fish
And that basically it, if you wanna keep only fish

Please don't put a tang In a 55 gallon tank

Oooh yeah I forgot to add that , don't put a tang in a 55 , especially since your a beginner , tangs need to roam free and is best left to experienced reefers that can handle larger systems

If you want tangs. wait 6-8 months before adding any tangs so they don't get diseases. And if your doing tangs or any fish only I recommend you buy a skimmer and uv sterilizer.

You can put a yellow tang in a 55 but a small one he will do fine I had two tangs in a 36 gallon last 3 years.

You can take the tang to your nearest local fish store and either trade it in for a smaller tang or get store credit, or if you really love your tang and you have the Capitol, upgrade your system
