What do people do with extra corals?

Hi all

I am relatively new to saltwater aquariums (1 year in). I am starting to have mushroom corals (esp. a particular 'bounce' lineage $$$ ) and palythoas that are reproducing too quickly to happily keep in my 20 gallon display tank. I expect I'll have SPS to frag in the next year as well. Of course the obvious answer is to upgrade to a larger tank but I am in med school so money and time are limited and and future living spaces are unknowns.

So my question is this: What does everyone do with a dozen or so extra 'corals'? Sell online? Sell locally? Is selling even worth it? Trade locally?

I know R2R has marketplace forums but have no experience using them. Will definitely consider once I've been active on here more.

I trade, sell and give away all my “extra” corals.
Some LFS may take them in on trade or store credit as well.

some things are hard To sell like Kenya tree or gsp so I give it away to beginners or budget reefers.

The easy way is to sell to an LFS.

I give mine away to local reefers and occasionally trade it in to the lfs for store credit.

Someone hooked me up with some euphylia a few years ago and I like to pass along the favor.
