AgreedSO CUTE!
If you ever run out of coralline, you can supplement with kelp sheets. I find mine will come eat the sheets (I have a foxface) when he's very hungry.SO CUTE!
Are fromias any more forgiving than blue licktia? And yes you are right. My pincushion urchin does have slot of diatoms and Coraline to eat so I won't have to feed him for a while, Not gonna underestimate the mouth of an urchin though. If you ever run out of coralline, you can supplement with kelp sheets. I think Patrick was a fromias, or a pink starfish? Do starfish live under rocks, I mean they wouldn't know any better BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON THEY CAN LIVE WITHOUT A BRAIN AND A HEART AND BLOOD AND WE CAN'T, THEY CAN EVEN SURVIVE BEING EATEN BY BLOODY SHRIMP THAT ARE SO GODDAM ATTRAVTIVE THAT THEY ARE NOT EVEN SEEN BY SHARKS AND OTHER PREDATORS. MY LIFE IS A LIE. I WILL GO TAKE AWAY BY BRAINS AND HEART AND BLOOD AND GO JUMP IN THE OCEAN EATING FISH POOP AND ALGAE AND BEING EATEN ALIVE BY BLOODY SHRIMP AND SUFFERING BUT NOT DYING.Fromias, hmm. I haven't seen one in a while.
Hopefullyof the ones you mentioned, only the rusty echinaster eats detritus I believe. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can chime in?
I might get a fromias as I am not looking for CUC I just want a ornamental sea starHopefully

The LFS I just bought my SS starfish from had 2 in with a pincushion and two other urchins. They also had Nassarius and Cerith snails in the same tank. Think it's 55-75g though but not sure.I know they are compatible with nassarius because my LFS had a pair for a while and I do plan on having a Pod Population and maybe a macroalgae reacted to house some chaeto for the pods to populate and will sand sifting stars eat a pincushion urchin or a fire shrimp?
Mine is climbing the glass in a 3 week old 75 gallon tank. Google results indicate that there is not enough food in the tank and this causes them to climb. I am putting a cube of frozen brine shrimp in daily. Should I put in a live clam or two? I sure would hate to think I am starving this creature to death.
Any advice is appreciated.
