Hi, I'm planning on buying a jebao wavemaker for my 20g high mix reef.
What do you guys recommend/which is the best?? Rw's or pp-4?

I have an RW 8 and it works great! not sure about the PP-4 though i think maybe the pp line is for nanos???

I have an RW-4 and two RW-8s on my 125 gallon tank. These three provide plenty of flow (the RW-4 runs at 100% and the other two run around 50%).

I think either would work for your setup, but I only have experience with the RW series since apparently the PP is the newer model.

One thing that seems pretty cool is that the PP series has an optical sensor that slows the pump at night. I'm not sure I'd use that feature, but it is neat nonetheless.

My experience with my RW's is they are great pumps but the stock controllers are never stay in sync. Bought a JB wave controller, what a game changer for these pumps.

Well if the pp-4 is a newer version then I think I'll go with it. Thnx for all the help guys!
