What do y’all recomendable for this issue?

Trident inside hose is slid open about 1inch from the attachment from the other hose that goes to the intake water. Do y’all think if I cut that one inch is going to throw it off by a lot? I tried putting electrical tape over but it didn’t seem to work

A replacement is probably the best option. An alternative option would be to connect with a barb connector and try to match the exact length.

I agree that the proper way to fix it is to replace the hose going into the trident, but in a pinch I would cut it off and try to get the barbed fitting into the hose at the break. I know they say not to adjust the length of the line, but I doubt losing that inch would make a difference.

I hot glued it and it’s working fine!
