I have a new clown fish, came from an existing aquarium. I have him in an acclimation box, first four days he looked great and ate great. Today he's washed out and I noticed his poop. Doesn't appear stringy, it's solid form but it is white.

Also I have general cure, if I soak it, is it feasible to feed him directly in my DT? Would this have any ill effect in the DT since I'm not dosing the tank directly?

I also can put him in a 40 gallon that currently has nothing in it, but I was thinking if it is something that could effect the other fish it might not hurt them to eat some of the general cure soaked food.

Thoughts???

May be two different issues here. It's hard to see with the pictures you have, so you'll have to judge on your end. The washed out appearance looks like Brook or Velvet to me.

How long was it in the other tank?
